WSOP* (World Series of Poker) Schedule for 2006 - The World Series of Poker will be here sooner than you think in 2006. Since it's the last few days of 2005, what more appropriate article could be written than one outlining the schedule for the 2006 WSOP?

The 37th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) will be held from June 25, 2006 to August 10, 2006. The event is planned for the Rio Suites in Las Vegas, which is also where 2005's event was held. The World Series of Poker in 2006 will consist of a total of 44 tournaments, many of which are Texas holdem tournaments. (In fact, the tournament organizers have been criticized for having too small a variety of games. Maybe it should be called the World Series of Texas Holdem?)
