312 players paid the $10,000 to take a shot at the title, and the final six were:

In Seat 1 - Juan Carlos Mortensen, with $2,523,000
In Seat 2 - Thang “Kido” Pham, with $608,000
In Seat 3 - John Juanda, with $723,000
In Seat 4 - Hung La, with $815,000
In Seat 5 - David Pham, with $486,000
In Seat 6 - Erik Seidel, with $1,081,000

Kido raised $120,000, and Juanda, found Th Tc, and pushed all-in for $615,000, but Hung La had him dominated with Qs Qd, and called. The board ran Kh 7c 6d, 8s, Ks, Juanda was out in 6th place, with $84,000.

Hung La with Qd Tc, pushed all-in for $430,000. Mortensen called with 8d 8h. The flop came Jh 5c 2h, no help to La, a Kh on the turn, and a Kc on the river, sent him home in 5th place, with $120,000 to take with him.

Kido made it $180,000 to go. Erik Seidel, moved all in for $290,000. Kido called and flipped over Ah As. Seidel needed a lot of help, and as the board went 6 4 2 rainbow, 5s, 6s. Seidel was out in 4th place, with $165,000.

David Pham with Qh 9d moved all in, and Kido called with 9 8 offsuit. The board ran Jd-Jc-2c, Ks, 7s, and David was out in 3rd, and collecting $255,000.

Mortensen found Kc-Tc, and raised to $600,000. Kido moved all in for $1,475,000. Mortensen, called and Kido flipped over Kd-8d, the flop came Ks 3h 2d, the turn and river came 7c, 4c. Which meant Juan Carlos Mortensen had won the title and the $25,000 seat at the WPT World Championship, along with the first place prize money.

Thang Pham took 2nd place along with a $496,400 payout.
