Season Two WPT Events
The second season of the World Poker Tour saw stops at many of the same locations that sponsored the events during the first season. there were some new tournaments added to the series, like the "Bad Boys of Poker" event.
- Grand Prix de Paris was held at the presitgious Aviation Club de France, and took place between July 10-13, 2003. David Benyamine won the event, and 357,200 Euros.
- Legends of Poker was held September 3, 2003, at the The Bicycle Casino in
Bell Gardens, California. Mel Judah won the tournament, and took home $579,375.
- Borgata Poker Open took place at the Borgata in Atlantic City, Sept. 20-22, 2003 Sept. 22. Noli Francisco won the tournamnet, earning him $470,000.
- Aruba Poker Classic was held Oct. 16-18, 2003 Oct. 18 2003. Erick Lindgren won the event, and $1,089,200.
- World Poker Finals - took place at the Foxwoods Resort Casino
in Mashantucket, CT over the course of Nov. 14-17, 2003. Hoyt Corkins won the event.
- Five Diamond World Poker Classic took place between Dec. 15-18, 2003 at The Bellagio in
Las Vegas, Nevada. Paul Phillips won the tournament, and $1,101,980.
- Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure took place between Jan. 18-25, 2004. Gus Hansen won the event, and took home $455,780.
- World Poker Open was held at the Jack Binion Horseshoe Casino/Gold Strike Casino
Tunica, MS. The events took place between Jan. 26-29, 2004. Barry Greenstein won the tournament, and $1,278,370.
- L.A. Poker Classic took place overFeb. 21-24, 2004 and was held at the Commerce Casino in Commerca CA. Antonio Esfandiari won the event, and earned $1399,135 in the process.
- WPT Invitational is also held at the Commerce, and took place between Feb. 25-26, 2004. Phil Laak won the event.
- The Bay 101 Shooting Star was held at the Bay 101
San Jose, CA between Mar. 3-5, 2004. Phil Gordon won the tournament.
- The PartyPoker Million took place over Mar. 13-20, 2004, on a cruise ship. Erick Lindgren won the event, and $1,000,000.
- World Poker Challenge took place at the Reno Hilton between Mar. 30 - Apr. 1, 2004. Michael Kinney won the tournament and $629,469.
- WPT World Championship is the biggest tournament of the season, and took place at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Martin de Knijff won the title, and $2,728,356.
- WPT Bad Boys took place April 24th , 2004, also at the Bellagio. Gus Hansen won the event.
