Pineapple poker is a version of holdem poker where you get 3 cards
dealt to you instead of 2, and you discard one of them. In regular
pineapple, you discard one of the cards before the flop, and in
crazy pineapple, you discard one of the cards after the flop.
Quick strategy tip: the more cards you're dealing with, the tighter
you should play. (The fewer hands you should play rather than fold.)
Pineappe poker involves more cards than regular Texas holdem, so you
should tighten up for this game, but not play as tight as you would
if you were playing Omaha.
Pineapple Poker at Ultimate Bet
Ultimate Bet offers both versions of Pineapple Poker, and they
generally have a decent amount of players at their pineapple tables.
Ultimate Bet would probably be my first choice in terms of a place
to play Pineapple for that reason. You can read a full review of
Ultimate Bet
poker here, or you can visit
UltimateBet.com here.
Pineapple Poker at Paradise Poker
The Pineapple tables at Paradise Poker don't seem as active as
the pineapple tables at Ultimate Bet, but Paradise is a great place
to play online, and they have a lot of great features. You can read
a full review of
Paradise Poker here, or you can visit
ParadisePoker.com directly here.
