If you're going to play poker, and you use a Mac, then you're probably going to want to play at Poker Room. Their poker site is fully compatible with Macintosh computers, and they're going to be the site that gives you the least headaches if you're playing poker from a Mac computer. Use the "light" version of Poker Room, which is a java based poker that requires no download on your part. (The downloadable version, as far as I know, doesn't work with Macintosh.)

Besides being "Mac-friendly", Poker Room also offers some really soft games, especially at the lower levels, so you should be able to actually generate a pretty decent hourly return playing poker there. Nothing better than finding a poker room that's not only compatible with your Mac but is also full of fish.

US Players - Full Tilt Poker is the only Mac compatible poker room taking players from the States. They have a Mac compatible software that you can download. My guess is that Full Tilt Poker's new downloadable Mac compatible software will probably be the #1 choice for Mac users everywhere, since it doesn't use and emulator and it's not a no-download version. It's a fully functional, fully downloadable poker software client for Macintosh users.

If you don't mind using Virtual PC, you might also have some luck playing at Ultimate Bet and/or Pokerstars. You might also try Party Poker using Virtual PC, but I make no guarantees how well that might or might not work for you. The good news is that all of the poker rooms listed above are top notch sites, with great support and plenty of action. (These are some of the best-known sites online.)
