The Tropicana poker room deals a $2/4 Texas holdem game with a rake of 10 percent / $4 maximum. $4/8 Texas holdem is available sometimes on the weekends.

They also offer $1/$2 no limit holdem with a $40 minimum / $100 maximum buy-in and a rake of 10 percent / $4 maximum. The Tropicana does not offer stud, Omaha or tournaments.

The Tropicana poker room is a smaller room with a cozy feeling. There only have six tables, but they are well-spaced out. so it does not feel crowded. The flat screen televisions on the walls were nice. The tables, cards and chips are all brand new. In fact, the poker room seems more appealing than the casino itself.

There is plenty of loose action to be had at the Tropicana poker room; it's a busy poker room, but the games are soft. Most of the players are guests and tourists.

The waitresses and management are average at the Tropicana cardroom. It's tough getting a drink in a timely manner during the day, and it's only a little bit better at night.
