The poker room at the Sahara has $2/$4, $1-$4-$8-$8 Texas holdem, and no limit is available when enough players are interested. In this case it would have a $100 minimum and a $500 maximum buy-in. There also offer $1-$5 seven card stud and tournaments are also held but there is no Omaha.

This poker room has 11 tables and the waiting time on weekends can even go up to 30 minutes. There are daily poker room rates which are at $39 from Sunday to Thursday and $59 on Friday and Saturday. There is also a daily play requirement of four to five hours.

The Sahara is older than many of the other casinos and this is reflected in its poker room also. There are no auto shufflers here. But the televisions there are quite good and so are the dealers. The players are a good mix of people who know to play and those who don’t. The cocktail service is excellent. Though there is just one server she is efficient and quick. The management is punctual when starting the games and is quick to resolve any issues players might have.
