The Plaza poker room has $2/$4, $3/$6, and $6/$12 Texas holdem and no limit holdem with $1/2 blinds. No limit has a $40 minimum buy-in with no maximum. They also offer $1-$4 stud and Omaha as well as tournaments.

This room has 10 tables and the waiting time during weekends is usually less than 15 minutes. The daily room rate from Thursday to Sunday is $35 and on Friday and Saturday it is $65. There is a daily play requirement of five to six hours.

The Plaza's card room is situated in a corner of the casino. There is a little noise from the casino, but it’s not too bad. Most of the players here are experienced, whether or not they're locals or tourists.

The dealers and waitresses both do an excellent job. High hand, quads and straight flushes have jackpots. On most days, early mornings mean doughnuts and coffee for the poker players.
