This has 2/4, 3/6, 4/8 Texas Hold'em and No Limit Holdem with
$1/2 blinds and a $40 minimum and $100 maximum. There is no Omaha
and no Stud but tournaments are available. There are about 10 tables
in this poker room.
The wait time on weekends is usually not more than a few minutes. It
is a non-smoking area and there is no poker room rate. The players’
comps are decent here and the tables are nice and new. Despite this
the poker room has a hastily put together look which in fact is what
it really is. The players are really bad at the tables and if you
are someone who has a decent game you’ll definitely make some money
in the poker room at the Imperial Palace. At the same time this is
also a good place for beginners since the stakes are very low and
there is not much competition.
The dealers are quite inexperienced
and young. So this can be frustrating for the players some times.
The waitresses though are quick and this might be due to the reason
that the bar is quite near the poker room. Players get $3 per hour
in comp credit and this can be used anywhere in the hotel for
anything. Free cookies and sandwiches are offered to players in the
poker room quite frequently. Free restaurant vouchers are also
available for players who hit a variety of hands.
