Texas Holdem is available at $3/6 and $4/8 with 1/2 kill
(expected). The rake is $3/10 percent maximum plus a $1 jackpot. The
No Limit Holdem has $1/2 blinds with minimum $50 / maximum $200
buy-in. The $2/5 blinds has minimum $100 and maximum $1,000 buy-in.
The second one is listed but may not always be on offer. There is no
Stud but Omaha is available. Tournaments are also available.
There are 11 tables in the Hilton poker room and waiting time on
weekends is only about 10 minutes. There is no smoking allowed and
there are no poker room rates. Though the new poker room is the same
size as the earlier one it has fewer tables now. For a change, this
is an actual room and is separate from the casino floor. A monitor
at the entrance to the room gives a listing of availability. The
tables all look spanking new. The chairs are equally good-looking
but not really comfortable. Most often, regular local players can be
seen here. The exception is when there is a convention on and then
you can find a lot of beginners and the drunk tourists at the
tables. Dealers are a mix of veterans and novices. But all of them
are friendly and competent. The cocktail service is very efficient
and fast. The drinks just seem to keep coming.
