The poker room at Harrah’s has Texas Holdem, No Limit Holdem and
also has tournaments, but there is no Omaha or Stud. Waiting time on
weekends can be anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes. There is no
smoking in the room and since the area is enclosed by glass it is a
little difficult to go out and get a smoke.
Another poker room that will delight a sports fan. Almost all games
can be shown on request and there are a large number of television
sets of all sizes and kinds. None of the noise from the casino floor
finds it way into the poker room. Very well-organized and there is
an automated system in place that lets the manager know immediately
whenever there is an empty seat at any table. Through this players
can also get an estimate of how long they will need to wait or the
number of players waiting ahead of them. The competition here is
average – it is not very difficult or very easy. The dealers are
quite fast and do not make many mistakes. But they are not very
friendly or chatty. The waitresses are also average but there is
food service at the table and that is definitely a plus point.
