There is Texas Holdem and No Limit Holdem with $100 minimum and
$300 maximum buy-in. It also has $2/$5 blinds. It also has 1-5 Stud
and tournaments but no Omaha.
There is no smoking allowed in the poker room of the Flamingo and
weekend waiting times can extend to 15 minutes. The room has 10
tables and there is a daily rate of minimum $69 from Sunday to
Thursday. On Friday and Saturday this rate is $99. There is also a
daily play requirement of five hours. The room is usually not too
crowded. There is a good mix of beginners, veterans and tourists
alike. Dealers are very professional and know what they are doing.
They were efficient and resolved any issues players had. The
cocktail waitresses are quite prompt with their service. The
management seemed quite organized and in charge of the overall
situation. The bar is located quite near the tables, so it is easy
to go over and get a drink for yourself. All in all, the atmosphere
here is enjoyable and the camaraderie is wonderful. A new poker room
is also in the making. There are usually high hand jackpots
everyday.
