Texas Holdem and No Limit Holdem are available at the Bellagio. The
most popular is the $200 minimum/maximum buy-in no-limit Hold'em
game, with blinds of $2/$5. This poker room also spreads a $600
minimum buy-in no-limit game with $10/$20 blinds. Stud and Omaha are
available, and tournaments are also available.
Bellagio's poker room is popular and attracts a huge number of
players. In spite of having over 30 poker tables, the Bellagio's
waiting time on weekends often extend to an hour or more.
The tables are cordoned off according to the levels of play at
each. The biggest stakes are in a glass enclosed room, which
obviously is not for the curious player or visitor. The low limit
games have the longer wait times. The peak hours are somewhere from
10 pm to the wee hours of the morning. The poker player room rate is
$129 from Sunday to Thursday and $199 on Friday and Saturday.
The Bellagio is a favorite haunt of many professionals and often
you can spot a famous face in the high limit sections. (I saw David
Sklansky the night I played there.) Sleek furnishings and appealing
décor combined with excellent service makes everyone feel like
royalty. The dealers are possibly the most professional and skilled
in Las Vegas.
