Arizona Charlie's has regular Texas Holdem games, but No Limit games
are rarely offered. There is a $100 minimum and a $300 maximum
buy-in on the $2-5 No Limit. No Stud is available and Omaha is very
rarely offered. Tournaments are also available here.
Arizona Charlie's poker room generally doesn't have much of a waiting time, even on weekends. This is a smoking room
and most of the players can be found making full use of this
relaxation in the regulations. There are just four tables and even
these are well-worn and look like they’ve seen many wins and losses
take place. They have the casino’s logo on them and there are no
auto shufflers.
The two plasma screen televisions seem
to be the only modern touch in the room which has an old school look
and feel to it. Players at Arizona Charlie’s have the
choice of playing with an “over button”. The dealers get top rating
from most visitors and players. The poker room has an informal air
and many of the players on any given day are locals. If you're
looking for Vegas glitter, this is probably the wrong cardroom for
you.
Arizona Charlie's poker room
also has a “mystery wheel”. Prizes of different
denomination are offered to players who draw certain winning
combinations. They then spin the wheel and the prize is paid
according to the colors on the wheel.
