Texas Holdem and No-Limit Holdem are
both available at the Aladdin. Two No-Limit Hold’em
games, 1/2 blinds with $50 minimum / $200 maximum buy-in, 2/5 blinds
with $200 minimum / $500 maximum buy-in. Omaha is offered on
weekends. No Seven Card Stud unless there are at least 4 or 5 players.
The Aladdin also offers poker tournaments.
Waiting time on weekends can be anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes. It
is a non smoking area and the poker player room rate is $79 from Sunday to
Thursday. This goes up to $129 on Friday and Saturday. There is also
a daily play requirement of six hours. The poker room at the Aladdin
has comfortable seating with booth-like seats for players as they
wait. You can watch the big screen television as you wait your turn
at the tables. Though there are slot machines in one part of the
room, the place is usually quiet as nobody plays on those particular
machines. This helps the earnest player concentrate on his game.
Since this is a relatively new poker room, the 12 tables still have
a new look.
Unlike most other poker rooms in Vegas this one does not
let you bring in food to the tables. But the management is good and
treats guests in a personal, welcoming and courteous manner. Coffee
and doughnuts is a staple before the morning tournaments. Guests
come away with a good impression of the dealers.
