A million dollars may not be quite what it used to be, so  Ultimate Bet has TWO $1,000,000 Guaranteed tournaments scheduled as part of the UBOC3 series of events. Not bad.
The first is the 6 Handed No Limit Holdem tournament taking place on January 11th, 2009. It's a high rollers type of event, with a buy-in of $5k. Obviously satellites will be running, and considering the buy-in, and the popularity of 6 handed play today, they should be active tables.
The second Million Dollar event is the Main Event of the series, the UB Championship on Sunday January 18th. That event will have a $1k buy-in, and the satellites have already begun. Check the tournament lobby at uBet.
Mini UBOC 3
Since uBet understands that not everyone has the bankroll of a poker pro, they've added what is essentially a second tier of the UBOC where the direct buy-ins are one-tneth what they are for the main tournament series.
They call this set of "junior varsity" games the "Mini UBOC 3". The Mini UBOC tournaments all have guaranteed prize pools, albeit understandably smaller ones.
