While betED has a slick site with gleeming logos, they don't appear to offer much in the line of information about their poker room.

BetED looks like a sportsbetting site, that offers poker as an afterthought. That's perfectly fine, because a lot of the fish in the pool come to poker rooms as "gamblers" who are more suited to sportsbetting or higher action casino games. They seldom know the intricacies of something as slow-moving as texas holdem. And, it's almost our duty as regular players to help these people find their way back to the cashier's cage to rebuy.

Still, since I am reviewing the poker room, and not just saying thanks for bringing in the fish, I'd have to say that betED is not focused on their poker playing community in the way that some other rooms are.

I did find a free $10 bonus for their poker players, but the offer comes after players complete 50 raked hands. So, you'll still need to make a deposit, play 50 raked hands at $.50/$1 or higher (at least a quarter in rake per hand), and then requrest your $10.

That's something that is a nice gesture, but considering what other rooms will do for you, I wouldn't expect it's worth the bother.
