Aztec offers new players a 50% match up to $200, which is a nice offer. The website is a bit sparse though, as they don't explain how to earn it. I would expect it to be right in line with other offers from prima poker rooms, but I guess you can't be sure on something like that. If I were truly interested in signing up and playing, I'd have to at least write an email to clarify it all. Not 100% convenient.
The room does have other offers for their players. They have an ongoing PR points program. For time spent on the tables, or buy-in fees for tournaments, players receive PR points. These points can then be redeemed for cash. As the poker room themselves put it, "Basically, you’ll receive 10% of your Rake back no matter what table you’re playing on".
One interesting thing that Aztec does for their players is offer a free strategy eBook. At least that can help get players used to playing poker online. And bit of information is probably worth having.
Aztec doesn't strike me as one of the best places to join the prima network, but with a friendly bonus they may be worth consdering. Especially if you are used to the competition on the network, and are looking for a new place to play.
Please note that Aztec Riches Poker is
an eCogra approved poker site!
