Sharpshooter Bounty Tournaments

SharpShooter Bounties at Doyle's Room

Bounty tournaments have always been a part of the happenings at Doyle's Room. For the longest time Doyle would join in a weekly tournament along with Todd Brunson, and maybe Mike Caro. They would all have bounties on their heads.

Well, now the room has taken the idea of putting a bounty on someone's head, and broadened it to include everyone in the tournament!

In one of the Sharpshooter tournaments, half of your buy-in goes to the prize pool. The other half is placed upon your head as a bounty. So, when someone knocks you out of the tourney, half of your buy-in goes right to him!

That, changes a lot. Knock out two players, and you've won back your buy-in.

Of course this changes the nature of the games quite a bit. They're more entertaining for sure. And to add to the atmosphere of the Sharpshooter tournaments, every one of them is a money-added event.

The money added amounts vary depending upon the tournamnet (all Sharpshooter tournaments are scheduled events found under the "Scheduled Tournaments>Loyalty Tournaments> Sharp Shooter" section of the Lobby).

One thing to mention is that the buy-ins for these tournaments are at the microstakes level. For instance, the 10 pm (Eastern Time) Sharpshooter tourney is a $1.10 buy-in with $30 added.

That's a fantastic deal, and I think it would be a ton of fun. But, I can also see how the $50 SnG crowd might not find a Shaprshooter tournaments at Doyle's Room to be that attractive.
