All poker sites take a percentage of each pot in order to fund the
poker room, and Interpoker is no different. (Actually, some poker
rooms charge a rental fee for your seat, and some poker websites
have experimented with offering a flat monthly fee instead of a
rake.) I've outlined the details of the rake structure at Interpoker.
The rake structure for the 6 person tables and the 10 person tables
is pretty straightforward. Interpoker takes a 5% rake from any pot
in excess of $5, with a maximum rake of $3. They also operate with
what's called a no flop no drop policy. If no one sees the flop,
Interpoker doesn't collect a rake.
The rake structure for 1 on 1 play is slightly different and is
summarized in the below table:
