Their name for this tournament table, or online tournament room, is the "Backroom".

I don't have full details on the Backroom tournaments, but from research I've done, it seems like the tourneys are all private freerolls and they all require an invitation and a password. Interpoker backroom tournaments also seem to almost always have a cap on the number of players who are allowed to play in the tourney, which is an advantage if the payout is high enough.

I've seen prize pools of up to $1000 in these Interpoker backroom tournaments, so I think they're probably a good deal to get in on if you can.

Often these freerolls are co-sponsored by gambling portals or other online gaming sites.

Most of the information I've been able to find about these backroom freerolls has been dated August of last year, so I'm not sure if these are an ongoing promotion or not. I'll continue to research the subject and post here as I find out more.
