Full Tilt Poker Special Offers

In my review of Full Tilt Poker, I mentioned how great I think their 100% deposit bonus of up to $600 is. I'm convinced that this is quite possibly the best signup bonus in online poker, and while the play-through requirements to actually release the funds might be frustrating for a lower stakes player, if you play $3/$6 or $4/$8, or even spend some time at the smaller stakes no limit holdem tables, you'll clear your bonus in no time.

But this article is about some of the other perks, promotions, and bonuses that Full Tilt Poker makes available to their members. None of the promotions or special tournaments listed at Full Tilt Poker require a promotion code either.

The Hunt for Red October Promotion at FullTilt

Full Tilt is billing this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to play 3 heads up poker matches with members of Team Full Tilt, and it's a chance to win $50,000. The Full Tilt Poker team members that they're talking about are probably names that are familiar to you. They include:

  • Phil Ivey
  • Howard Lederer
  • Phil Gordon

To win a chance to compete with these 3 poker pro's for the $50,000 grand prize, you have to win one of the multi table qualifier tourneys that are scheduled from October 1 through October 31, 2005.  The qualifiers win your entry into the $5000 freeroll. Winning that takes you to the next step, which is the 3 heads up matches with Ivey, Lederer and Gordon. Here's the prize structure for that:

  • Win the 1st match and win $5000
  • Win 2 matches and win $10,000
  • Win all 3 matches and win $50,000

VIP Freeroll

Full Tilt Poker is hosting a freeroll exclusively for their top 1500 Full Tilt Point earners in the month of October 2005. Based on where you rank, you're entered into 1 of 3 different freerolls, as follows:

  • The top 500 players are entered into a $28,000 freeroll
  • The next 500 players (501 - 1000) are entered into a $15,000 freeroll
  • The next 500 players (1001 - 1500) are entered into a $7000 freeroll

Tracking your VIP status at Full Tilt is easy too. You just click a button that says something like "View my VIP status" in the cashier section and it shows your number of VIP points and your VIP status.

$200K Guaranteed Tournament at Full Tilt

Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 23, 2005, for the $200k guaranteed tournament. The tournament begins at 6pm ET. One of the cool prizes, besides all the cash, is the custom avatar that comes along with winning this tourney. There are satellites running throughout the month at Full Tilt also, with buy-ins as low as $4.00 + $0.40, or you can just buy your way in at $200 + $16.

Weekly Guaranteed Full Tilt Poker Tournaments

Full Tilt Poker is currently offering daily guaranteed tournaments at a variety of times. Most of them are at the $24+$2 buy-in level and have guarantees of between $2000 and $10,000.

On Saturday and Sunday though, Full Tilt offers their biggest guarantees. The Saturday night guaranteed tourney is a $100+$9 buy-in with a $25,000 guarantee, and the Sunday night tourney is a $200 + $16 buy-in tourney with a $50,000 guarantee.

Foxwoods World Poker Finals

Every Saturday until November 5, 2005, Full Tilt Poker is offering qualifiers to the World Poker Tour event at Foxwoods. The buy-in for these qualifiers is $200 + $16, or you can climb the sub-qualifier ladder, which starts at $4 + $0.40.

Ultimate Poker Challenge

The Ultimate Poker Challenge is going to be a nationally-televised poker tournament held in Las Vegas. It has a $10,000 buy-in, but Full Tilt also is offering qualifiers to this event. These qualifers are being held on the following Sundays:

  • October 2nd
  • October 23rd
  • November 13th

Buy-in's for these qualifier tournaments are $200 + $16, but like most Full Tilt tourneys, you can always win your way in with a sub-qualifier at $4+$0.40.
