From time to time, Full Tilt Poker holds a series of guaranteed money tournaments that they call the "Full Tilt Online Poker Series", or FTOPS for short. The first events took place in August of 2006, and included a line-up of 8 different events with a prize pool of $1,000,000.
The sixth running of the series will take place between November 7th and 18th, and will include $9 million dollars in guaranteed prizes. It will also include a $2,500 buy-in event on Saturday the 17th. That particular tournament will be a 2-day event, a special event in the world of online poker.
Qualifiers and satellites are running 24/7 for the various events. Most have reasonable, if not downright cheap buy-ins. Of course players can skip the satellite phase and buy in driectly on game night.

Here's some genral information about the tournament series:
Tournament Games
The tournaments in the series differ from night to night. They'll include a variety of games ranging from No Limit Holdem to Pot Limit Omaha8 to mixed games like HORSE. Each event also has a celebrity poker pro host.
Although satellites run prior to each event, a lot of players buy into the games directly. Buy-in amounts generally start at $109, with some reaching as high as $1,000.
LeaderBoard
In addition to the prizes involved for each individual event, Full Tilt keeps track of a series-long leaderboard. Players are awarded points depending upon their finish place in each of the events. Players with the most points after the overall series is completed are eligible for additional prizes and poker opportunities.
One of the prizes for the overall leader of FTOPS includes a custom Full Tilt Avatar.
