Full Tilt Poker on Television
The professional players that form Team Full Tilt are what
separate (at least from a marketing perspective) Full Tilt Poker
from most of the other
online poker rooms. Other poker sites, particularly
Poker Stars and
Ultimate Bet have teams of pro's who form a crucial part of
their marketing, but I think anyone would agree that no one has more
or bigger poker pro's than Full Tilt.
Original Television Programs from Full Tilt
The "FullTiltPoker.net Championship at Wynn Las Vegas" was
the first live televised poker tournament from Las Vegas in history.
Starting on October 9, 2005, FOX Sports Net will be presenting
one-hour segments of the show over four weeks.
Another new poker tv show from the team at Full Tilt is "FullTiltPoker.Net
Presents Learn from the Pros", which is a new weekly program
that will also be run by FOX Sports Net. Chris Rose of the Best Damn
Sports Show will be co-hosting the show with Full Tilt Poker team
member Howard "The Professor" Lederer.
This show will present question and answer format style segments
featuring pro's from the Full Tilt Poker team. The idea is that
these pro's will feature tips and strategies for improving your
poker game. (By the way, I've seen Howard Lederer's DVD about poker
tells, and it's fine stuff and did a lot for my game, so I have high
hopes for this show. I get the weekly emails from Full Tilt with the
poker pro tips, and they're always really good too, so those are
both good indicators as far as I'm concerned.)
"FullTiltPoker.Net Presents Learn from the Pros" will run for 26
weeks on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, and the show started on
September 27. Check your local listings for the times that the show
is available in your area.
