Pro View Feature on Cryptologic

On August 16th, 2007, Cryptologic added the new "pro-view" feature to their poker rooms. This new poker table view addresses the needs of players who play more than one table at time.

The new pro-view allows players to have several "full view" versions of the poker tables where they are seated displayed on their computer screens at the same time, without having to deal with overlap.

So, instead of having to toggle between different poker tables or bother with tables fighting to be "on top" when it's your turn, players can have complete access to all the information in a side-by-side table setting.

People with computer screens that support 1280x1024 can display up to 9 tables simultaneously. Anyone with screen resolutions of 1920 x 1200 can display a full 12 different tables at the same time without overlap.

Each individual table displays a full array of features like the timer bar, hand values, and action buttons that allow you to select an action ahead of time.

They also allow for player note-taking, and provide the traditional betting buttons including the slider.

You can also have the number of comp points you're earning displayed on each individual table, so you can keep an eye on your MPP count as you spend time at the tables.

This type of feature is obviously aimed at the type of online poker player that is comfortable with a multi-table environment, and is looking for a solution to keeping track of that action at each table while trying to get the maximum number of hands played per session.

Cryptologic is taking steps in the right direction to make the veteren players more comfortable when playing at the rooms on their network.
