Bounty Events
Besides the "Championship Events" being held, there is a second layer of tournaments that are part of the Bodog Poker Open. They are the "Bounty Events" which also take place daily September 28th, and Friday October 3rd.
Each of these tournaments also has a guaranteed prize pool. And they're all some form of Texas Holdem. But, there's an additional twist in these games.
Every player in the tournament has a bounty placed on their head, which will go to the player that eliminates them. So, the more players someone is able to knock out of the contest, the more bounty money they collect. And this bounty money is in addition to normal winnings from the prize pool that is awarded for placing well in the tournament.
the buy-ins for the Bounty Tournaments in the Bodog Poker Open II series are much less than the buy-ins for the Championship events. Most bounty buy-ins range between $15 and $33.
